Colin Tirel is Managing Director of ARBURG Ltd based in Leamington Spa. He has been in the plastics injection moulding industry for over forty years, having only worked for two companies in that time. Following an apprenticeship at a local plastics and engineering company and a period of working on various types of plastics processing machinery, he moved within the group to join Negri Bossi as their Southern area salesman selling Negri Bossi products for thirteen years, leaving to join ARBURG.

He has now been with ARBURG for the last twenty four years. Originally joining as Sales Manager in 1998. He was appointed Sales Director in 2001 and then he replaced Frank Davis after his retirement as Managing Director of ARBURG Ltd in 2005.  

ARBURG Ltd look after the sales, technical support, service and spares for ARBURG machines and robots through the UK and Ireland. There are many areas that the global market are looking at to improve efficiencies away from the machinery itself. These can include Digitalisation, sustainability and the circular economy to name three. These and a number of others form important form important aspects which ARBURG treat seriously and are keen to discuss with customers.
