I am the Knowledge Transfer Manager for Marine Plastics at Innovate UK Business Connect, having joined the Materials team in 2021.

As a marine scientist and educator, I have extensive experience of anthropogenic impacts on the marine and freshwater environment, and champion the importance of healthy oceans to address climate change.

My areas of interest include investment in plastics circularity across all sectors, micro plastics, ocean bound plastics, beach clean plastics and fishing gear (recyclable, recovered, redesigned, lost or discarded).

In my current role, I work with all sectors and stakeholders to enable sustainable use of plastics through collaboration and innovation exchange.
